Spoke Lacing - Radial

Spokes exit the hub in a straight direction where they connect to the rim without crossing over any other spokes. Since the spokes are taking the most direct path possible to the rim they don't need to be as long which can save material and weight. Strength is sacrifised because the spokes aren't able to brace themselves against anything due to their direct path.
