Single Brake Bolt

Brake Caliper Interface - Single Brake Bolt

A single hole typically located in the middle of the fork arch or seat-stay directly above the wheel. This interface is most commonly found on road bikes that use a road caliper rim brake. Since there is only one bolt used to secure the brake it acts like a pivot point so the brake caliper can be aligned over the wheel by simply pushing with your hands.
